Notes

This is a documentary about the rock band Muse. It documents the bands inspirations behind their music which is science theories and conspiracies and also their rise from being a small rock band from Devon to a worldwide stadium band. With interviews of authors of the books which inspired Muse's music, also a classical music critic analysing their music and comparing it to that of classical pianists. The narrative of this documentary takes the listener on a journey: discovering what inspires the band; showcasing two of their biggests albums (Origins of Symmetry and Absolution) and looking forward to the future of the band which uses the band's music and also sound effects of space and the paranormal. There's a discussion into whether in the future the band would create a musical which would be following in the footsteps of legendary rock band Queen or (as they also have classical style track on some of their albums) a Opera. The style and tone suits the target audience of 6 Music who are 24-44 year olds as it's medium to fast paced and deals with some complex theories which the audience of that age would understand.
