New Music Monday: 4th April 2016

1. Reapers - Muse

The latest of the rock trio's seventh studio album 'Drones'. Reapers with it's drum filled catchy introduction to it's heavy guitar riff middle 8 is a classic Muse single. The epic 6 minute track is definitely worth a listen if you love you rock like me. If you want to read the review I did for the album click here. Also if that doesn't give you your Muse fix keep an eye out as I'll be reviewing the Drones Tour this week,

2. Wind In Our Sail - Weezer

90's Pop-Punk band Weezer release new single Wind In Our Sail, from their latest album 'White Album'. Best know for tracks such as Buddy Holly and Beverly Hills, Wind In Our Sail is a guitar and piano heavy track and shows pop-punk still isn't dead after all this time. Definitely a highlight to another colourful album.

3. Follow You - Bring Me The Horizon

Another tune from the massive album that is 'That's The Spirit' from Bring Me The Horizon. With it's synth based intro to then a guitar based chorus. Like with Drown, this is more mellow style to BMTH loud and rocky sound. However, it's still a great track.

4. Calling You - John Thacker

Synth lead pop based track 'Calling You' is next from new artist John Thacker. The relaxed beats of this track switches this week's New Music Monday up a bit. If you like the vibe of this track, there's plenty more as John has released his debut album 'Home' so go give it a listen.

5. Bad - Walwin

Pop punk newcomer, Walwin, with Bad. With their release of his debut album Sleepless, released last year. It looks like we'll be hearing a lot more from tWalwin. Bad is a pop-punk track filled with rocky guitar riffs and awesome vocals. If you love Tonight Alive, Boys Like Girls and Panic at the Disco then you'll love Walwin.
