New Music Monday: 27th June 2016

1. No Future - blink 182

Gearing up for the release of their seventh studio album, California. The trio have released another pop punk perfection in the form of No Future. All about standing up for yourself. This is another anthemic song from the band's latest album with Bored to Death. The album is released this Friday.

2. Bury It - Chvrches feat. Hayley Williams

Fresh from performing at Glastonbury, Chvrches have premiered new song Bury It and features Paramore front woman, Hayley Williams. This is a very girl powered song about raising above and burying a problem. This comes from the bands second album Every Open Eye. The band are currently touring festivals throughout the summer.

3. Send My Love (To Your New Lover) - Adele

Talking of Glastonbury. Headlining the pyramid stage on Saturday night for the first time, Adele has release her next single off the huge '25' album. This is the follow up to the massively successful 'Hello'. Known for her ballads, Send My Love (To Your New Lover) is probably one of her few upbeat tracks. The guitar infused track is a personal highlight of her album.

4. Evil Eye - KT Tunstall

Scottish rock chick, KT Tunstall returns to the music scene with her latest EP, Golden State. Evil Eye is the lead single from the four track EP. Quite an indie rock track, it has an amazing guitar melody running through accompanied with windpipes and synth. Definitely an awesome summer vibe going on with this track.

5. Oblivius - The Strokes

New York indie rock band returned earlier this month with their second EP, Future Present Past. Each track off the EP represents the bands future, present and past. Oblivius is the present representation. However, it still has that Strokes sound from previous albums. Recommend listening to their new EP as it is fantastic especially if you, like me, love the indie rockers music.
